infas LT and PTV Logistics form strategic alliance:
The new easymap.one platform now offers route planning and field service optimization
Bonn, July 6, 2023: The solution provider for location technologies and mapping solutions infas LT will in future integrate software components for route planning and field service optimization from PTV Logistics. As a result, infas LT is expanding its service portfolio and can now offer all location-based services in its own individual and standard solutions. As part of this cooperation, infas LT will release an enhanced version of the “easymap” software, which integrates the functions of PTV’s “Map&Market” product.
An innovative further development
„By integrating route planning into easymap, the new software package becomes an advanced further development of our former solution PTV Map&Market,” emphasises Axel Koch, Partner Manager of PTV Group (photo, left).
More mapping functions, more data in access
Philipp Borgschulte, Business Manager and Authorized Signatory at infas LT (pictured right): “With the release of the enhanced easymap software, existing PTV customers will have the opportunity to use new mapping functions and direct access to the infas Group’s comprehensive data portfolio.” PTV’s previously known performant components will initially be integrated into the desktop solution, but a web-based version is also planned for the future.
New possibilities through routing and tour planning
The partnership also offers infas LT and easymap customers new opportunities. Borgschulte emphasizes: “In the future, there will be no product on the market besides easymap with comparable scope and performance of functionalities.” In the area of custom developments, companies with field sales, such as B2B sales for pharmaceuticals, retail and manufacturing, will also benefit from the new features and the integration of PTV software components..
What are the new features capable of?
In the future, it will not only be possible to display and analyze new and potential market areas and company figures on digital maps. With the new features, it will also be possible, among other things, to optimize field service territories and routes in a new quality, taking into account the actual workload. With such precise planning of field service routes, companies can operate much more efficiently and also more ecologically. All maps with territory boundaries, route progressions and route specifications can also be shared on the web at any time and adjusted live as needed.
