When requirements grow: easymap professional has long been able to do this

The current easymap professional version offers significantly more functionalities. With the integrated easymap explorer, maps can be shared via the cloud and viewed interactively on various (mobile) devices.

New expectations of business mapping

Our long-standing customer from southern Germany has been using easymap for many years to produce sales analyses and territory breakdowns and visualize them on digital maps. As a rule, these are output as PDF files and distributed to the relevant departments by e-mail. However, the more the company became accustomed to the convenient and informative maps, the more the requirements for content and future display methods grew. Here a map section should be highlighted, there additional information should be displayed on the map and here and there someone wants to work in the base map themselves. The problem with our customer: In his older easymap District Manager version, he can only export static PDFs from easymap, for example. Too much information can quickly lead to overlays in the map image, which can limit recognizability. In addition, these maps are not interactive.

The customer allocations and sales territory analyses he creates, as well as the digital maps produced from them, are much more versatile and informative in easymap professional. The uncomplicated upload of interactive maps in easymap explorer, the compilation of individual map catalogs for fixed users and simple sharing via link make collaboration much more efficient. And the response from users has been exceptionally positive, as the customer reports. The benefits resulting from the better insights, the more involved team and the uncomplicated sharing and individual editing of the maps far exceed the additional costs of €520 per year compared to the old annual license.
